Workgroups (Teams) in Zeplyn
Workgroups (also called Teams) allow firms to organize advisors and staff into structured groups for easier visibility and collaboration inside Zeplyn.
🔐 Who Can Create Workgroups
Only Organization Admins can create and manage workgroups.

🛠 How to Create a Workgroup
When creating a team, you’ll:
-
Name the workgroup
-
Add Members
-
Add Viewers
Click Create Workgroup to save.
👥 Members vs. Viewers - What’s the Difference?
Understanding the distinction between Members and Viewers is key to using workgroups effectively.
Members
-
Their content (meetings, tasks, notes, activity) is shared with Viewers
-
Do not automatically see other Members’ content
-
Ideal for advisors or staff whose work should be visible to a manager or lead, but not peers
Viewers
-
Can view and edit all content for Members of the team
-
Ideal for managers, supervisors, compliance, or operational leads
-
Ideal for firms who operate in a pod structure where a lead advisor, associate advisor, and client services associate should have access to one another's content.
This structure allows oversight without over-sharing peer-level data.
🔍 Viewing Workgroups in the Advisor Hub
Once a workgroup is created, users can filter their view in the Advisor Hub:
-
Go to the Advisor Hub
-
Below the search bar, locate Workgroup View
-
Select the workgroup you want to view
The Advisor Hub will now display meetings associated only with Members of that selected team.
➕ Multiple Workgroups Supported
There is no limit to the number of workgroups you can create.
Firms commonly use workgroups for:
-

-
