Using the Zeplyn Mobile Phone App
How users can utilize their phones for in-person note taking with the microphone function.
🚀 Getting Started
-
Download and install the Zeplyn app from the Apple App Store.
-
Sign in with your Zeplyn account credentials (same account you use on desktop).
-
You’ll land on the Record note tab by default.
-
In the Upcoming Meetings section you’ll see your scheduled sessions.
-
Tap a meeting to view details or to begin recording.
-
From here you can also create a new note for an unscheduled call if needed.
📝 Recording & Creating Notes
-
Tap the Record Note tab from the bottom navigation.
-
You’ll see the Create note screen:
-
Enter or confirm the meeting title (e.g., “Meeting with [Client Name]”).
-
Toggle Consent received once you’ve confirmed permission for recording.
-
Choose the Meeting Type (e.g., Client, Internal).
-
Add Attendees by selecting and tagging client names or other participants.
-
-
With consent toggled on, recording controls become available:
-
After finishing, tap Save to upload the audio for processing.
🔍 Reviewing Your Notes & Recordings
-
After processing, the call notes will appear in the Hub under Past Meetings.
-
You’ll be able to view the transcript, summary, action items, etc.
Note: For complete detail and editing capabilities you will use the web version; the mobile app is optimized for quick capture and upload.
✅ Tips & Best Practices
-
Avoid closing the app while upload is in progress.
-
After saving your note from mobile, you’ll find richer editing options on the desktop web app if you need to further refine summaries or action items.
-
Take client’s consent, check the Consent Received checkbox, and hit Start. The app will play an audio disclaimer “Note-taking started”.
-
Once the meeting ends, hit Save.
-
You can view the processed note in a few seconds on the Zeplyn Web app.
